Wine Tasting - Washington Wines
There have been several times when we have been asked, “Now that you own a wine shop, are you going to take a trip to Napa?” While there is nothing wrong with Napa, our answer has always been the same – “No. We are going to Washington.” In fact, we did just that this past April and met some talented winemakers. We will be pouring five wines from four of these wineries on Friday night.

Wine Tasting - Same Grape, Different Place
One thing that we find fascinating about wine is how different parts of the world bring out different qualities of grapes. For example, how Americans produce a Pinot Gris that tastes really different from an Italian Pinot Grigio. Or, how Italians produce a Sangiovese that tastes really different from an American Sangiovese. These are the wines we'll be pouring on Friday. Come and taste!

If you want to learn more about wine, how to decipher a wine list, how to pair wine with food or are just looking for a good time, join us for Game Night. We have a great wine game and each night we invite 16 people to come to the store and play and taste. Each night we focus taste three wines that are related in some way (such as grape varietal or region) and you get to work with a team of other fun people to beat everybody else. It's fun and you never look stupid... we promise!
